Holy smokes, moving is so much work. Last time we moved it was over 16 years ago, and I don’t think I remember it being so much work but maybe it was the fact that I wasn’t in my 40s and we didn’t have as many things being just the two of us. Add kid’s things and all the collectibles and items we’ve accumulated over those 16 years and moving was a lot. We’ve made it to our new home, got the moving truck unloaded and now we just have to slowly unpack and get things sorted. Maybe in July I’ll have time to feel settled in better.
Now that I’ve made some space I’m taking a moment to sit down and relax but also get around to posting this adorable family with their newest little addition. It’s been a few months now since I took their newborn family photos so it’s about time I get around to posting this beautiful little family.
This adorable little girl arrived just a couple days before Valentines’ Day and at her session she made all the cute little faces. She also hated having a headband on, we tried a few times to get some images with one on and she’d fuss within seconds of having it on.
Posed newborn sessions are beautiful and I love all the different poses and cute ways the little babies get bundled up but there’s just something about doing lifestyle newborn sessions that I love just that little bit more. Capturing the pure love on new parent’s faces adoring their new little bundle is the best. And what’s better than being comfortable in your own home to create these beautiful moments with your little one.
Ashleigh and Cameron booked my newborn bundle, I had the pleasure of capturing their in home maternity session and then when little Evelyn came along I came back to their home to capture their life as a family of 3. They make an adorable trio! They all did great at the session, mom and dad were very easy going and comfortable and little miss Evelyn was fuss free and mostly awake for our whole session time.
Just look at those beautiful big eyes that were taking everything in as I snapped away to get all these beautiful moments with this family.
