Barefoot Bus | A Camp Unraveled Session | Ledbetter, Texas Family Photography
So Camp Unraveled scared the crap out of me, the whole extrovertedness of it really, BUT, I talked my friend Candace into it and we booked. I’m a very introverted type of person, group activities aren’t really my thing but I am learning to push myself out of my comfort zone. You can’t learn if you don’t push yourself a little bit, and without that push where would our growth be? And guess what, we had so much fun. It was the perfect amount of time spent with other like minded people doing activities like dodgeball, musical chairs, low ropes, and ziplining. And between all the fun stuff we also got two awesome sessions to shoot. I’ll post each in a separate blog post so first up you get this amazing family.
The Hancock family live on a very large skoolie bus they converted into their home, and if you want to see more about their journey on this beautiful bus, head on over here and check it out.
They were a dream to photograph. Ashley and Brad are both photographers so they were very natural and easy going in front of the camera, the whole family was. They were given very little direction from our group and their comfort turned into these beautiful moments we were able to capture.
Their whole style and vibe was absolutely amazing. I loved the vintage 70s like style they had. Everyone had the most amazing hair too. Yep, just me here with all the short sentences because they were just so seriously fun to photograph.
And what a cool life they have, traveling and experiencing the world together. Not that living in small quarters like they do is for me or everyone, but I still think they do live a very interesting and unique way. I have to start sharing some images with you and stop rambling right now, so let’s get to it.
Aren’t they so darn cool? They are also the sweetest family too.
I would love to photograph more families that live a unique lifestyle like the Hancock’s. So if that’s you, get in touch and let’s talk about your family and what you would love your photo story to be like.
So what do you think? Does a session capturing your family as they are right now something that would interest you? If you’re interested and want to chat, click the button below and let’s get in touch.
And if you’re a photographer that is holding back on signing up for that workshop or event with other artists, take that step and click that sign up button. To be able to grow in our art we need those moments that push us beyond our comfort zone so go ahead and go to that workshop, you never know how much you will learn and how much fun you’ll have, it’s better to go then regret not going!
