I’ve known Nakeisha for a little while now, we work together at my day job, and I was so excited to hear she was expecting. I asked her right away if she would be interested in having a maternity session, who wouldn’t want to photograph this beautiful lady! And her hair, I’ve told her before, I’m super jealous and wish I had such amazing hair.

We had to reschedule our first session date, the day started out ok, but by the evening it was raining so hard, it would have been crazy to attempt a session in that kind of rain. We decided on the following weekend and kept a close look at the weather network, crossing our fingers for a beautiful sunny evening, and the day did not disappoint.

We started our session up at Cultus Lake, so beautiful, we are lucky to have such gorgeous locations so close to home. The sun was still a little higher than I wanted, but we were able to use the location to our advantage with the sun not yet close to setting.

After we finished at Cultus Lake, we drove back down and stopped at two more little spots I had coordinated before I let these two get back home to snuggle and warm up. The sun was setting just perfectly by this time, and that gorgeous glowy Autumn sunset was absolute perfection.

I can’t wait for these two to meet their little one!
