Our family is getting a new little member coming soon. My sister is expecting baby number three at the end of this year, maybe it’ll be a New Year’s baby?

Back in November we got together to capture her maternity photos while the changing leaves were still hanging on. We met up at Tynehead Park, there was still some Autumn colour in the area, and a fun overpass crosswalk to utilize for the session.

The sun wasn’t cooperating with us that morning, but they all braved the cold for me and did so great.

You know what’s great? When a park offers you more than one location in a short walking distance. And when you have an expecting mama, that makes things so much simpler. We didn’t have to walk far at all to get some great variety at this park.

I typically get more black and white images then I did with this session, but that green dress my sister wore was such a gorgeous colour that I couldn’t bring myself to take that away, I needed most of these images to be in colour. And how great does that colour look on her? Beautiful!

We can’t wait to meet the newest little nugget!
