The Orange Dress | Vedder River | Chilliwack, BC Portrait Photographer

I actually went out and did a self portrait series out in public, whoa! Haha.
I bought this orange dress from Forever 21 and have been waiting to do some portraits with it. Last month when the kids were in school, I took some time to myself, found a spot that screamed Autumn, which worked perfectly with this dress, and awkwardly started taking pictures. I love doing self portraits, but I still always feel so awkward doing it, especially out in public. Maybe I’ll get over that one day, but most likely I won’t. I’m happy that I did this series and didn’t chicken out, as I usually do when I plan self portraits outside of home, I love how these turned out.
This spot was so nice and quiet, I think I spent a good hour here before seeing someone else come when I was already leaving, so that worked out perfectly.
If you’re looking for a fun, colourful, long and flexible dress to use for your own family photos or portrait sessions, let me know, I have started a, very small at this time, client closet and you are welcome to use one of the dresses for our session together.
