Checking out Bridges | Alexandria Bridge | Yale, BC Family Photographer

Another summer adventure to share. The Alexandria Bridge. I love this place, it’s so beautiful.
We checked this spot out on our way home from camping one year, so this year I took my kids, nephew and father in law to check it out again.
This was our last Summer adventure before school started. It was another beautiful day, the drive to the bridge was nice and easy. As we walked the trail to the bridge we explored some of the off trails that led to the rock edge to have a look at the river below.
After taking in the bridge, it’s construction and the views, we walked past the bridge to a trail where the kids and their Pops found a whole bunch of old tin cans. They checked them out and we watched a couple trains go by on the tracks just above us. After a snack break we made the walk back to the car, but before we got onto the bridge we found a small trail that led down to the river and under the bridge, Asher and I were the only two that went to check it out, and he asked for a photo of him “holding” the bridge up, so of course I made that happen.
Once we were finished our exploring, we headed back home, but on the way we stopped at The Lake in the Woods for a short break and a dip.
