Ok, every session at the Unraveled Academy retreat was a favourite, for sure, but I think this one was at the top. The whole mood of the session was just amazing, such a vibe. The props, the clothes, the couple, so much fun. Mari led this couples session and talked to us about how she sets up scenes with her storytelling and directs her couples from a point A to point B to create a movement in her “posing” which was freakin awesome. I really loved the concept of directing with a starting and ending point so that the couple or family have something to do which then really allows for them to open up and just be with each other while we capture those in between moments that create magic.
This is my last series of images to share with you all from my time with the Unraveled Retreat in the gorgeous Utah mountains and I’m sad I don’t have more because the whole weekend was just absolutely amazing. Everything about it was just a dream and I am so glad I had the opportunity to finally attend and meet all the amazing people that attended as well.
