Last month I was finally able to check out the Bird Sanctuary out in Delta. I am still a little bit obsessed with photographing birds and this was the perfect place to check out.
We booked an afternoon spot, but I think next time I might attempt to get out there for the morning because it felt like we ran out of time to check out the whole place before it closed for the day. I can’t wait to go back later in the fall when different birds come around.
We saw a lot of ducks, I mean A LOT! Haha! They also liked to follow the kids around for the bird food. Oh, and did you know that ducks had nails on their webbed feet? I had no idea until I snapped a close up of a Wood ducks feet, so weird and cool.
If you’re in the area and love birds you should really check it out, very much worth the drive out there.
