Getting Back in the Frame | Self Portraiture | Chilliwack, BC Portrait Photographer

Last year I did a few self portraits but for some reason I didn’t find myself wanting to do them very much, maybe the fullness of the year and completing the Renos had my creativity and desire to get in the frame stuck in the no fly zone? Who knows!
This year, even though it’s been busy and crazy, I have found myself with lots of ideas for jumping into the frame, on my own and with the kids. The ideas are fairly simple, but maybe I’ll find some time to be even more creative.
We’re only 3 months into the year and I feel like I’ve done quite a few portrait sessions for myself, and I have to say that it feels good, even though I still feel awkward in front of the lens.
