Who doesn’t love a good pie?
We had some apples and raspberries hanging around the kitchen so we decided it was a good mix for a tasty pie, and we were right! It was absolutely delicious, and this recipe will be making it into our favourite recipes photo book.
This was my first time attempting a pie crust, it turned out pretty good. I think I made the dough a little dry because when I was rolling it out it kept breaking apart on me so I decided to cut out stars for the top instead of using a lattice pattern. Aside from it breaking apart when being rolled, it baked up beautifully and was delicious.
I made the pie while the kids made forts in the basement so as I did each step I decided to document the process, why not right? So here’s the making of an apple raspberry pie.
