Turning One is a Big Deal | First Birthday Portraits and Cake Smash | Chilliwack, BC Portrait Photographer

I hadn’t blogged this adorable little guy from last year for his first birthday portraits and cake smash and I couldn’t start blogging this year’s clients without getting his session up here first.

This sweet and adorable little guy had a rough start but he is a little warrior, and he’s got two great older siblings to watch out for him too.

We started with his one year portraits, which he insisted on not really sitting still for but chasing toddlers is fun, isn’t it? I was able to capture so many great snaps of him and his personality. Check out those cheeks.

Mom brought along some great little capes for his siblings to wear alongside his CF Superhero cape and when all the portraits that required him to be clean were finished, we attempted the cake smashing.

I used to bake a lot of fancy cakes back in the day so I include smash cakes with my smash sessions, but Landon had other plans, he sure didn’t want to smash but he did get some small tasty bites before he decided he was all done.

We finished the session off with some portraits with his mama and some beautiful afternoon light!
