Spooky Fun | Halloween | Chilliwack, BC Portrait Photographer

Who else loves Halloween?!?
I think it’s so much fun to get all dressed up. Every year I take some photos of the kids’ costumes, and try to find an appropriate location for what they are dressed up as. This year I’ll be doing the same, but we also decided to do a little extra and have a few little Halloween themed photo shoots. This is our first one, the Halloween Spirit. I found this nightgown at Value Village, we painted Kazia's face a ghostly white and added some smudged eye liner and lipstick to give her a little creepiness. This ratty old barn, that looks like it could fall down any day, is near by our house, so we headed down there and used it for our backdrop. I really love how this series turned out.
We have a few more ideas lined up and hopefully we can get them all done before Halloween gets here.

{This post is part of a blog circle of photographers around the world. Each month we share a slice of our life through our documentary approach to photography called Our Documented Days. Next up is {Jill} so please follow your way around the circle and see what the other talented women have been up to. I’d love it if you left a comment behind on this month’s post.}
