There are rules to follow in photography, and when you’re still learning they are a really great guide to have so you can better your images, but sometimes rules have to be broken.  So don’t follow the rule of thirds, or chop those limbs in weird places, as long as the image speaks to you and draws you in that’s all that matters.  It’s your art and sometimes you need to break those rules to create something magical.

For week 4 our members broke some rules, photography or their own, and they created some beautiful magic!

This week’s cover feature goes to Angela Story. I love how this image has made me take a double take every time I see it. I love the portrait and the silhouette, and it works beautifully in this B&W conversion.
