I really need to get better at keeping up with posting all these beautiful family sessions I photographed over last summer and fall.

It’s so nice to see our temperatures warming up and all the beautiful colours of springtime slowly showing up in all the places around town. I enjoy getting to experience all the seasons, even the cold of winter sometimes. Spring is gorgeous with all the fresh blossoms and all the colours, but my two favourites are summer and autumn.

During the last few days of summer last year I photographed my friend and her family along the Vedder River. Melissa is also my hiking buddy and we’ve hiked quite the amount of kilometers in the past 6 months of so.

The time of year when the river levels drop low there’s so much space to explore this gorgeous spot that is practically in our backyards. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and I had fun capturing Melissa with her boys.
