Sometimes you’re getting ready for a session and just before you head out to the location, it starts to rain. But a little bit of rain never hurt anyone right?

When this family arrived to our location, the rain had already started but it wasn’t super heavy. Everyone was ready and excited to have their picture taken so I asked them if they are up for continuing on with the session and getting a little bit wet. They all agreed to give it a go and take the chance on getting wet and it worked out so awesome for us all. Even with the rain, the temperature was still fairly nice and no one minded it much at all.

The Vedder river is such a beautiful location for family photos, and in the summer when the river levels are low it offers so many awesome little spots to roam and explore while I capture beautiful moments between your family.

This adorable family had such a great connection, they were super easy going and that made it easy to capture them loving on each other. They snuggled, told jokes and did their best model pose impressions. The sun may not have been shining that day but who needs it when you’re having this much fun, even at the end of the session when we were starting to get a little bit soaked, everyone was still smiling. That’s a great sign and really allowed me to capture some awesome memories for this family.

So next time, if it starts raining a little bit, don’t jump to cancelling that photo session, take the chance and enjoy the light rain.
