Friends visiting from out of town and a beautiful sun filled day, what could be better.
Our favourite Albertans were visiting home for Spring Break and of course we had to get together, the kid’s wouldn’t have it any other way. We met them down at the beach and spent a full day catching up and soaking up the sunshine and ocean smells.
The kids have known each other for 8 years now, and even though our friend’s moved away to the next province over a few years ago, we try to get together any time they come home to visit family. And seeing the kids together always makes me so happy, you’d never know that they don’t see each other all the time, they reconnect as if no time has past.
We spent the whole day down at the beach enjoying the sunshine and ocean air. Watched the kids play amongst those blue skies. We talked and reminisced about life. Enjoyed some fries and ice cream before we parted ways for the evening. Sad to leave and go home but hearts full from a wonderful day spent with wonderful people. Until next time!
