Summer Sunsets and Campfires | Vedder River Family Session | Chilliwack, BC Family Photographer

This was my absolute favourite session this summer and I’m so happy that Jenn and her family decided to come all the way out to Chiliwack for the evening to hang out with me while I captured them and their connection.

Our dates kept conflicting but we were finally able to make it work before everyone started their summer vacations and we had so much fun.

We started out by exploring the areas around the Vedder river that were mostly dried out since the path of the river changed after the crazy floods we had back in November of 2021. The light that evening was so beautiful, shining through the trees and Jenn and her family were so wonderfully connected with each other.

Once the sun dipped a little bit, we did a little change up and headed to roast some marshmallows by the fire. Who doesn’t love a good s’more on a summer evening?
